2019 Blue Ridge Detachment picnic will be held on Saturday, July 13 at Jackson Park in Hendersonville NC. The picnic will be held in Pavilion #1 which will be open from 1000 to 1400 hours. Anyone who can help set up please be at the pavilion at 1000. The menu is normal picnic fare. Pot luck dishes are also requested and appreciated. All members of #848 or former Marines or Corpsman, Associates, and or their families and friends are invited. If you’re bringing friends or guests, or if you have any questions or constructive suggestions, please contact me or Ralph Martino. 

Saturday, Jul 27, we have a general membership meeting at 1100 in  the American Legion Hall, 216 4th Ave W, Hendersonville.  During the  meeting, we will have the installation of officers for the upcoming  year.  The uniform for the officers being installed is black shoes,  black trousers, white shirt and red garrison cover.  Following the  meeting, we will draw the winning ticket for the rifle raffle and then, we will have a barbecue buffet.
